Is it just me, or did June fly by much too fast? I’m sure I posted about June’s book releases only a week ago. Sigh. SFSignal list of July book releases was huge, but I tried to keep my list reasonable.
Shadow Show: All New Stories in Celebration of Ray Bradbury edited by Sam Weller and Mort Castle
The Last Policeman by Ben H. Winters
The Thackery T. Lambshead Cabinet of Curiosities: Exhibits, Oddities, Images, and Stories from Top Authors and Artists Edited by Ann & Jeff Vandermeer (On my nightstand now)
The Woman Who Married a Cloud: The Collected Short Stories of Jonathan Carroll by Jonathan Carroll
vN by Madeline Ashby (Review coming soon.)
Carry the Flame by James Jaros (Review coming soon.)
Yum! I’m keeping my eye out for a few of these, as well. Just read The Last Policeman and really liked it. Have vN in my Nook, and plan to start it this weekend. And how nice to see Jonathan Carroll on the list! I contemplated getting that book for my library, but his books don’t get checked out much ….. so might just get a personal copy for my own shelves.
Looking forward to seeing your reviews!!
Interesting list Amanda. I read a short story by the author of vN, set in the vN universe, so of course I am curious about how you find the book. And on your recommendation, I read and enjoyed the first book by James Jaros, so I am curious about that one, too. Looks like lots of good reading ahead for you …
