I’m still focused on finishing a large commission of watercolor paintings and editing my short stories, but in any spare time I manage to find I’m also working on a new digital artwork. I thought for today’s post I’d share a WIP image. Dragon Egg is a combination of fractals and digital painting.
The egg is one fractal and the some of the structures of the baby dragon are another fractal. I combined them in Photoshop and then began drawing an outline for the rest of the dragon. She’s going to be so cute! Any thoughts on what I should name her?
Persephone? Goddess of Springtime. Usually eggs hatch in the spring, right? I like the basis of you piece, keep at it …
Like!! That’s a definite possibility. 🙂
The egg almost looks like glass, though the dragon looks protected. I love this.
Thank you. I’ll be sharing more progress photo images next Wednesday. This has a long way to go before it’s finished. 🙂
