After four years I am closing up shop at Etsy.

When I joined Etsy in 2008 it was fresh and alive. Etsy is still alive, maybe too alive. Selling Art on Etsy has never been an easy venture, but nowadays it takes big investment to be seen on a site that is both flooded with sellers and doesn’t give Art the attention it deserves. I’ve decided it’s not worth my time and money to keep a shop open that isn’t making me happy anymore.  As someone who suffer from a chronic illness I don’t even have the energy or the funds it takes to keep a shop profitable on Etsy. I would much rather paint, feed my muse and not give Etsy all my money.

I’ve decided to work on my own shop here at my website for the occasional buyer. Other than that, nothing else will change really. I’ll still be sharing new work, participating in projects with The Art House Co-op and other creative endeavors.
