April is National Poetry Writing Month, or NaPoWriMo for short. And I’ve just joined!! I’ve mentioned a few times over the years how poetry was once a driving force in my life. That’s not the complete truth. To be honest, it was a driving force that helped me survive. I’m still trying to survive. But aren’t we all?
Writing poetry is not easy. It’s like using the your left hand instead of your right. You can write a descriptive piece about a painting but a poem is a painting all on its own. I’m looking forward to getting my mind in gear for 30 poems in 30 days!
P.S. I will be posting my poems here, everyday, starting April 1st.
one poem one day..sounds interesting.. All the best and needless to say I will be following regularly..:)
Thank you! I think it will be a rewarding challenge and putting back in touch with a different way of expressing my world and my life. 😉
Oh oh oh, I l-o-v-e a good poem … someone said that it is the writing that is closest to the soul’s language … right?! right.
Cool on you. And I am tempted to join you. Hmmmm? Does it cost anything to join?
