No eye that sees could fail to remark you:
like any leaf the rain leaves fixed to and
flat against the barn’s gray shingle.
I took a walk yesterday, through the woods between our house and the next, keeping an eye out little splashes of color–wildflowers. The minute I saw its folded wings I knew what I’d found.
Beautiful!
Thank you, Jane! I’ve already got an idea for a painting too! 😀
How perfect for an Amanda painting! It is beautiful, I’ve only seen one once. What an amazing sight.
I know!! I doubt I will ever see one again, Annie. I feel blessed.
Sooooooooooo beautiful! I use to see those type all the time. Not so much anymore.
This was a first time for me. I’m still excited about it!
(Again and again) I love seeing the world through your eyes. Those antenna (is that the right conjugation?) are a perfection to behold … and the green, and then those faux eyes. Amazing.
Went to see a show that featured work by Paul Gaugin earlier today and some of the color was amazing too. We are lucky – both of us – to have been gifted with dazzling color and form. Cool.
I would love to see an exhibition of Gaugin’s paintings! We are lucky to be able to appreciate color to the fullest. 🙂
