The Saturday Selection? Yes, that’s me trying to be cute with my titles. I can’t help it! To be honest I’m feeling quite cheerful today, despite once again waking up at 3:30 in the morning. The sun is shining and the cats aren’t trying to kill one another. What more could I ask for? The Saturday Selection highlights a few more things that were smile worthy this week.
1. This morning I discovered PinAQuote.
PinAQuote allows you to highlight any text on the web and pin it to Pinterest! I couldn’t resist pinning one of my favorite lines from Phoenix Rising–the line that had me hooked. π
2. I won Member’s Choice in the EBSQ Art of Tarot Show!!!!
3. The cover of The Twelve by Justin Cronin has been revealed!
4. I’m now offering an ACEO Subscription on Etsy.
CONGRATS on your award, Amanda!!!
Thank you, Annie! That was such a huge surprise this week. π
Congratulations Amanda!
I am NOT surprised at all! π I’m now off to Etsy to check out your ACEO of the month dealeo.
Have a great day! It’s so beautiful outside today!
Jacqueline
It’s a gorgeous day! Why am I still inside?? LOL
Thanks, Jacqueline!
Congratulations on the win!
Thank you, Michael!
Justin Cronin has a new book out, eh? I read his first foray into scifi/fantasy when it was causing such a huge commotion. But (perhaps b’cuz of that buzz) I only marginally liked it and found it a bit predictable. Now, since some time has passed, I wonder how I would find it.
So with this his second book in the genre, I will wait until either you give it a big thumbs up or I find a complimentary galley in my hands to even consider reading it. What a snob I am sometimes (lol) … besides I have almost a ton of books waiting for me to read them pronto.
I like your Saturday Post idea: a good place to sum-up your progress/success/what have you. You are a mover and a shaker Amanda … Amanda Panda … just trying to come up with a successful nickname for you! lol. And you are a GOOD FRIEND!
I liked the first book, but it wasn’t mind-blowing or psyche altering. In fact, I think it could have used a lot more editing–huge chunks seemed to drag on and on–but I pulled through it and the last third of the book picked up a lot.
My mother still calls me Manda Panda from time to time. LOL (((hugs)))
