It may be small but nevertheless, I have a new painting to share! The Moon is my entry in the EBSQ Art of Tarot show. I took some of the traditional symbols found in The Moon card and gave them a Native American spin.
Voting begins tomorrow! If you aren’t a member of EBSQ (as an artist or a patron) you can still vote by clicking on the Facebook Like button on my entry page, and you can start today. You’ll find the button just above my entry here.
it’s superb and lovely. š
Thank you!!
Nice composition. I like the way you painted the moon.
Thank you, Gretchen! I’m pleased with how it turned out, especially since it was such a last minute painting. Inspiration was on my side!
This is beautiful Amanda. You are so talented.
Thanks Courtney-Jo! š
Looks like your fan club is here and voicing their support. Here, here! š Your moons are evocative of Georgia O’Keffe’s watercolor sun paintings … minus the color palate. And I love her watercolors … tres jolie ma soeur!
Thank you!! That is quite a compliment. Georgia O’Keeffe was one of the first artists I ever admired. š
Hi Amanda,
I voted for you yesterday. I tried to come here and tell you but WordPress wouldn’t let me log in. Anyway, I wanted to tell you that I love the colors of this little piece but even more than the colors I love the perspective! Excellent! Good Luck to you hon! I’m curious about EBSQ. If you ever have time I would love to talk to you about it. Have a great day! May love and blessings chase you down.
Jacqueline
