You can always tell when I’m focused on work. The blog goes silent or I start publishing short photo filled posts. However, this photo filled post has a lesson to be learned. Sometimes there really is more than meets the eye. Take this photo of my yard (1/4 of my yard for the sticklers) for instance:
Except for the two daffodils it appears lifeless and dull. Right? Wrong. These are the wonderful images I’ve taken in the last week, which prove Nature is alive and in bloom.
Never assume. Always look deeper.
What an inspiring post – I love that, “Look Deeper.” Your photos are beautiful!
Thank you so much! 😀
Really nice close-ups, Amanda. Do you have a telephoto lens? Those are a lot better than I can get with my camera. Do you know the name of the little pink one in the lower right hand corner? I’ve seen those many times and wondered what they were. They are so tiny, you have to really be looking for them.
Thanks, Annie! These are actually photos I took with my iPhone, though I do have a mini telephoto lens that attaches to the camera. Some of these flowers are smaller than a pea! I’m not sure what the purple flower is, but it’s covering our yard right now.
SUPERB post Amanda! Not only do you have a keen eye, you have a poet’s sensibility as well. Everything is so precious, including you. 🙂
Aww! 🙂 Thank you, Jan!
Lovely photo’s, keep them coming…
Thank you!
