Purple Tulip for IndieGoGoMay’s art cards for the IndieGoGo campaign are going out in batches every day this week. I’m enjoying these cards, especially the spring feeling they give off. When I decided on this month’s theme I planned from the beginning to give these aceos an illustrative feel. I wanted them to be carefree.

Each card has an abstract wash of color for a background. The flowers are outlined with Sakura Pigma Micron pens (the best archival ink pens in the world in my opinion).

Red Aster IndieGoGo Art CardThese are bright, uplifting cards! Next month’s theme will be still life objects; cups, art supplies, whatever I have lying around the studio (except pebbles, they will have their own month later).

May has also brought a new addition to my sorely neglected Makepeace Gallery shop on Etsy. I have a new archival print available for my still life painting, Room with a View.

Room with a View Archival Giclee Print

Room with a View has been printed on archival, Somerset Velvet paper. It measures 11 x 14 inches, a good size once it’s matted and framed. I will not be printing many of these, so if you want it you better grab it! 😉
