I sort of want to start a little balcony garden, but those things usually cost way more for input than earn for output. However, I bought a basil plant at Trader Joe’s last year and it was wonderful-wonderful to have all that fresh basil around. So we’ll see …

Happy Earth Day! Our garden is in big plastic tubs we bought at Lowe’s. They sit on our deck where the deer won’t tread. This year we are going to have spinach, beans, red bell peppers, squash, and tomatoes! I bet all that fresh basil was heavenly. 🙂 A lot of people do tomatoes in big pots, it’s the easy way out I suppose. 😀
