If you follow my antics around the web you’ll have noticed I haven’t spent much time on Twitter or here at my blog. It’s been one of those weeks where I can’t decide whether to call it a good one or a bad one. Increasing issues with my joints have been testing my will power. This morning I couldn’t convince my thumb to push open a new box of Grits, so I took a knife to it–the box that is, not my thumb. 😉
On the bright side, I discovered I won 3rd place for the Season’s Greetings Contest at #AllThingsFractal on deviantART. WooHoo! You may be thinking 3rd place isn’t something to get too excited over, but I won a ton of goodies, including a 3 month premium membership!
I’ve also been commissioned for two new portraits. I’ll be sharing some pics soon. Why do I feel like I’m becoming a portrait artist all of a sudden. Didn’t I try my hand at this five years ago? Déjà vu?
