Christmas has come and gone. So too has my Ultimate Wishlist. I decided it was time to take a look at the list I keep on Goodreads and do a little updating. Between my family, Borders Bucks and 50% off coupons I was left with this wonderful bounty:
The book on the end, The Island at the End of the World, was found on the bargain table for $3.99! I had received two copies of The Summoner, and exchanged one for The Flood; which has been on my Ultimate Wishlist for months. The Passage, thanks to my mother is another book I can take off the Ultimate Wishlist. Lastly, the Mistborn Trilogy was not on my Ultimate Wishlist, but I’ve been wanting it regardless. I bought the box set with a 50% off coupon and some Borders Bucks. 😀
Here is my new Ultimate Wishlist:
Labyrinth by Kat Richardson, Far North by Marcel Theroux, The Ale Boy’s Feast by Jeffrey Overstreet, Spellbound by Blake Charlton, Forever by Maggie Stiefvater, The Iron Queen by Julie Kagawa, Spectyr by Philippa Ballantine, City of Hope & Despair by Ian Whates, Overwinter by David Wellington, and Tempest by Becca Fitzpatrick.
If I enter any giveaways this year it will be for these books!
Wow! What a cool list of books!!!
Yes, lots of goodies! I will probably break down and buy Far North. The main character shares the same last name! I know, a silly reason to want the book, but I do! 😀
I think that’s a wonderful excuse to buy another book!! Ha!
Hey there Amanda!
I will be curious as to what you think of the Justin Cronin book, as I have already read it. You’ve gathered some interesting books together. Well done!
I am currently reading the Patrick Rothfuss book, ‘The Name of the Wind’ and loving it. He’ll be coming to my place of work (bookstore) in March and that’s when the second book, in the series, will be out. Let the good times roll.
Can’t wait to see your postings on your new booty and your new ultimate wishlist. You do know what’s important in life…one must read, neh?!
Happy Year of the Rabbit!
Jan
Don’t know how I missed this one!! That’s so cool you’ll get to meet Rothfuss! 😀 I haven’t been to any author signings in some time. The one that stands out in my mind was meeting Anne Rice. So long ago!
Happy New Year!
