I spent a little time this afternoon working on my Day of the Dead painting for both the EBSQ Show and the EBSQ-Etsy Team Showcase later this month. I’m not going all out for this show, just a fun watercolor painting. Here’s where I stopped today:

Now that I’m making short trips back into my studio, I’m also getting back to work on my commissions. Life is slowly picking up where it left off, minus the random pokes to my belly. No touchy!

Gosh you lay your color down confidently…good for you. I like the green against the bold black lines and will be curious to see the finished painting. 🙂
Thanks! I’ve never painted anything like this before, so I had a nothing to lose attitude going into it. It’s good to work outside one’s norm from time to time. 🙂
